Abstract
We report the properties of graphene oxide a twodimensional carbon nanomaterial as a substrate for surfaceenhanced Raman scattering The graphene oxide substrate produced Raman enhancement for rhodamine 6G melamine and cephalexin Intense characteristic D and G peaks of graphene oxide were observed when positively charged rhodamine 6G and melamine were used as the Raman probe We attribute the appearance of D and G peaks to the aggregation of negatively charged graphene oxide
