Abstract
A nonconductive piezo ceramic plate has been used to induce an electric field to generate an electrospray as ionization method for mass spectrometric determination This technique decreases the risk of undesired discharges induced by high electric currents The applicability of the technique is demonstrated and compared with a commercial electrospray for mass spectrometric determination of reserpine and myoglobin
