Abstract
We study the influence of mechanical alloying with nanopowders of 80Y2O3 –20 ZrO2 oxide on the microstructure of 08Kh18N10T austenitic steel It is shown that mechanical alloying cold compaction and thermomechanical treatment of compacts lead to the formation of precipitates with predominantly crystal structure of Y2Ti1−x Zr x 2O7 type oxides in steel They are characterized by a high density ~7 · 1021m–3 a mean size of ~10 nm and semicoherent boundaries with the austenitic matrix
